Why Early Access?

“As a solo-developer, it is hard to pin-point when the game will be 100% finished. There is a lot of content I am planning on adding in order to give players the best experience possible. ”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Hard to say how long it will be in early access, however a year after Early Access release seems reasonable. ”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The core of the gameplay is finished. While in Early Access I want to keep adding more fish, items, collectables, cat homes, fur patterns, quests and minigames. This is also a good time to make sure there aren't any lingering bugs. ”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Current state of Early Access includes customizing your cat fur and colors, fishing a plethora of different species, collecting items, chatting with others, and listening to music together. There is just a lot more I'd like to have added to all of these areas. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I'm not planning on changing the price when leaving Early Access. I'd like the game to stay quite affordable. ”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I plan on involving the Community in the development process by having an active discord and posting updates on both Steam and Discord. I will be listening to all feedback and hopefully creating a finished game that people are happy with. ”

That Cozy Cat Game is a relaxing online co-op game where you and your friends explore a colorful island as customizable cats. Go fishing, chat, find new discoveries, earn kibbles, and dress up your cat. Enjoy the world at your own pace.

Catch and Collect Fish

Cast your line into ponds and rivers to discover fish of different rarities. Fill out your collection, keep track of everything you have caught, and sell your fish to earn kibbles.

Create Your Cat

Choose your fur pattern and colors, then collect hats, glasses, backpacks, and other accessories to create a cat that feels like your own.

Relax With Friends

Play alone or create an online server for your friends or anyone to join. Explore together, fish side by side, show off your outfits, use emotes, or place a boombox and listen to music nearby.

Explore a Cozy Island

Wander through bright beaches and peaceful outdoor areas, meet local characters, visit shops, and discover new activities around the island.
