About This Game

Experience a new, fast-paced game inspired by Sudoku combined with action reminiscent of late-nights spent in the arcades of the 90s. Sudokucide brings the traditional game into the 21st century with exciting new mechanics and pumps the action up to 11. Face the challenge or commit Sudokucide -- the choice is yours.

ROGUELITE ARCADE EXPERIENCE:

See how far you can go across millions of puzzle combinations with increasing difficulty levels before you either die or give up and use an escape pod to retain your gems for the next run. When you die, you have the opportunity to recover the items and gems you lost on the next run if you do not die before reaching the spot where you committed sudokucide.

PLAYER INVENTORY:

Stock up on items to help you on your journey so you can make it even farther on your next run and potentially unlock more rewards. The farther you go in the game, the higher the difficulty modes that will be available in multiplayer. 

NO MICROTRANSACTIONS OR PAY TO WIN:

Just like in the old days, your skills determine how far you go -- not how deep your wallet is. All inventory items are earned through playing the game and unlockables are achieved via player improvement.

MULTIPLAYER (ONLINE OR AGAINST THE PC):

Compete against up to 7 other players in multiple game modes such as, Classic, Knockout Mode, and Tug-of-War at launch. Hone your skills in a fight against the computer before you go online, and when you're ready, challenge your friends or other Sudokucide players around the world to see who can solve their puzzle first under difficult circumstances.

• Classic mode is a one-off puzzle challenge where everyone competes under the same conditions.

• Knockout mode is like classic, only it is a series of challenges where the last player standing in this competition of endurance wins.

• Tug-of-War is the biggest challenge of all: You and your opponent receive the same puzzle, however, the answers revealed are not the same, and when one player places a tile correctly on their gameboard, the other player will have that tile removed from their already answered tiles and they will have to put it back, all while trying to figure out their own next move.

MULTIPLE THEMES:

Unlock new music and gameboard skins the more you play to change the feel of your game. Like the high-octane cyberpunk theme? You're in luck! That's turned on by default. Prefer a slower paced, casual feel? Play just a little bit and you'll unlock that experience... and after that? Keep playing and find out how many themes you can unlock?

FREE UPDATES AND DLC:

Seven themes are included at launch. We will be releasing additional themes as free updates/DLC post-launch and will never charge for DLC. You buy the game once and that is it!

PERSONALIZE YOUR PLAYER CARD:

Create avatars for your player card to match your mood. Store as many characters and change them as often as you like.

PUZZLE OF THE DAY:

Every day, a unique puzzle is generated specific to that day's date and you only have 24 hours to complete it. Share your results with friends and see who solved that day's puzzle the fastest, with the least amount of mistakes.

STATISTICS GALORE:

Review your progress across all game modes in the dashboard and see how your performance improves over time.

NO GENERATIVE AI USED:

No generative AI whatsoever was used in the development of this game. If you believe one of our development partners may have snuck something past us, please let us know! We are not perfect, but at least we are human.
