About This Game

Start on the ground floor. Fight your way up.

Evelyn is trapped inside a skyscraper controlled from top to bottom by the corporation.

If she wants out, there’s only one way to go: up.

Every floor brings new enemies, new choices, and people who are increasingly difficult to deal with.

Combat here isn’t just about draining health bars.

Slam an enemy into a wall and keep the pressure on. Kick them into a crowd and disrupt several enemies at once.

And when you’re surrounded, one well-placed knockback can open a way out.

Who you hit matters. Where you send them matters too.

Don’t let them surround you

Light attacks, heavy attacks, dashes, dodges, grabs, and knockbacks can all flow into one another.

The enemies won’t just stand there and wait.

Some will stay in your face, some pressure you from range, and others are there to make movement difficult.

Stay in the middle of a crowd for too long and you’ll quickly lose control of the fight.

Dodge incoming attacks, move to a better position, then use the opening to strike back.

Sometimes giving up one extra hit is what sets up the next exchange.

What will this run turn into?

As you climb, you’ll keep finding new upgrades.

Add fire or lightning to your attacks. Improve your dash. Turn perfect dodges into counterattacks. Or use shields to support a more aggressive playstyle.

One upgrade may only change a little.

But as they start stacking together, the same basic moves can develop into completely different ways to fight.

Whether this run turns into an all-out rush into the crowd or a more measured dodge-and-counter build depends on what you find along the way.

The people upstairs are harder to deal with

Regular enemies are only the beginning.

The higher you climb, the more troublesome the company’s response becomes.

And at the end of certain floors, members of management will be waiting for you.

Bosses have their own attack rhythms and move sets.

Some constantly pressure you, some suddenly reposition, and some deliberately pause to bait out an early dodge.

If you want to keep climbing, chasing them down and attacking nonstop won’t be enough.

Read their rhythm, then find your chance to fight back.

“Total Stability”

The company is rolling out a program called “Total Stability.”

Stress, emotion, even pain can be quantified and redistributed through the system.

In theory, it is supposed to make life more stable for everyone.

Of course, someone still has to carry everything that gets transferred away.

Evelyn was just another ordinary employee until she discovered that she and her family were also considered expendable parts of the system.

The usual complaint process isn’t going to solve this one.

So she decides to go upstairs herself.
