About This Game

A seven-year-old boy arrives in a Ukrainian village to spend the summer with his grandfather. New friends, small adventures and plenty of chores await, along with one very important goal: earning enough money for a visit to the local gaming club.

10 More Minutes is a story about childhood, discovering video games, the people close to us and the familiar places whose meaning we often understand only years later.

Explore the village, look around your grandfather’s house and yard, talk to the people who live nearby, and pay attention to the little things around you.

An old television, a forgotten toy, a hunting trophy or another curious find might catch the boy’s eye. Anything he interacts with will appear in his journal as a hand-drawn picture accompanied by a few thoughts of his own.

The world is shown the way it might have stayed in a child’s memory. The grass seemed greener, familiar places felt much bigger, and even an ordinary object could become the beginning of a small adventure.

Help your grandfather, gather apples, search for missing items and take care of other simple tasks. Many of these chores become their own minigames, each with different rules, a distinct mood and a small story to tell.

You will not need perfect reflexes or high scores. The minigames bring variety to the quiet exploration and let you enjoy each moment at your own pace.

Talk to your grandfather, the local children and other people around the village. Light-hearted conversations and humour gradually reveal their personalities, relationships and personal stories.

Time does not stand still. The main character grows older, familiar people change, and so do their conversations, the atmosphere and the way he sees the world around him.

A dimly lit gaming club, the glow of old screens, someone watching over your shoulder while another child waits for their turn. For the boy, it is more than just a place he has always wanted to visit. It is his first glimpse into an entirely new world.

This is where his love for video games begins, and where every new discovery has to be shared with friends. It is also where you always wanted to ask for just ten more minutes.

The story follows several periods in the main character’s life. Each one brings its own mood, pace and perspective on a once-familiar world.

The game remains approachable and unhurried, while the situations and mechanics gradually become more varied as the boy grows older. Not every memory feels the same, so alongside the warm and playful moments, the story also leaves room for contrast.

At its heart, 10 More Minutes is inspired by the developer’s own memories of childhood summers in the countryside, saving a little money for the gaming club, and the people who remain an important part of our past.
