Your Eagle. One Super Bomb. The mission sounds simple: get the Super Bomb to its target.
The road there is anything but.

BLASTER! is a classic Defender-style side-scrolling shooter - fast, direct, and deliberately challenging. Reflexes, timing, and knowing when to unleash your firepower determine how far you get.

Pilot the Eagle on its mission to Nestia and clear the way for the Super Bomb. 20 levels across five major stages alternate between underwater combat and deep space. Underwater, you must protect the Super Bomb and fight a path forward for it; in space, survival becomes your top priority.

Enemy formations, defensive installations, and dangerous obstacles demand your full attention and quick decisions. At the end of each stage, the action shifts into a 3D Mega-Boss battle, with a different perspective, different controls, and a whole new style of play.

A multi-tier weapon system provides the firepower you need. Destroyed enemies can leave valuable pickups behind: Weapon Pickups evolve your Eagle's arsenal from a basic laser through Torpedoes and Homing Torpedoes to powerful special weapons. Energy, shields, and Megabombs can make all the difference when things get critical.

That extra firepower needs to be managed wisely. Stronger weapons draw from a shared energy reserve. Once it runs dry, your Eagle drops back to the previous weapon level. Burn through your firepower carelessly and you may find yourself seriously underpowered at exactly the wrong moment. It is not just about how fast you shoot, but when - and with what.

Classic or Enhanced

This release brings back the original 1997 BLASTER! in a restored and carefully refreshed edition. The original gameplay, levels, enemies, and mechanics remain intact, complemented by additional presentation options.

Alongside the original video sequences and sound effects, the game includes reworked cutscenes and enhanced sound effects. The launcher lets you choose Original or Enhanced at any time, so you can experience BLASTER! your way.
