In the run-down town of Kirchheim, the last shred of lightheartedness has been lost. Night after night, children disappear without a trace – first the strays, then the sheltered. The desperate townsfolk search for someone to blame, turning their wrath upon the woman at the edge of town, decried as a witch. No one believes her innocence, yet she alone knows the dark entity behind the abductions.

Trapped within her witch's house on Samhain, the day when the boundary between worlds is thinnest, she summons a ghost. Its mission: follow the trail of the missing children and rid the town of the "Mothman"…
