Freewake is a team-based grand strategy and space simulation game about politics, ambition, exploration, and survival.

Work with other players to secure resources, colonize worlds, protect trade routes, and defeat rival powers. At the same time, compete against your own allies for wealth, influence, military strength, and control of the team itself.

Will you become a loyal servant of a growing empire, manipulate your allies from within, or rise as the dictator who commands them all?

Far from Earth, ambition takes many forms. Become a trader, mercenary, explorer, raider, or independent Free Captain and carve out a life on the frontier.

Freedom comes with its own price. Supplies are limited, help may be far away, and a single mistake can leave your ships stranded—or destroyed.

Your choices shape your destiny. Allies can become enemies. Political rivals can become rulers. Exile can become either a death sentence or the beginning of a new empire.

Fight a War of Information

Space combat is inspired by submarine warfare. Detection, concealment, deception, and patience matter as much as firepower.

Hide your ships, control their emissions, scan uncertain contacts, mislead your enemies, and launch slow-moving missiles across an active battlefield. Every attempt to find an opponent risks revealing your own position.
