About This Game

Strange noises echo from deep underground — ping, pong, meow! A mouse has stolen the cat's favorite cheese and scurried down into the depths. Without a second thought, the cat curls up into a ball, grabs a banana, a little fish, and a marshmallow, and goes smashing its way down.
Wait... since when do cats love cheese? Could this be a mouse trap?

Gameplay

CatBall is a roguelite that blends physics-based combat with item building. You can't command a cat (nobody can). All you can do is toss your cat into battle, and while it rolls and crashes around, hand the right weapon to its paws. Every collision, bounce, and swing is simulated in real time, and your cat will defeat enemies its own way (usually the most chaotic way possible).

The Cat Is the Ball

It won't listen, but it sure can fight
Once the battle begins, your cat rolls, rams, and swings its weapons all on its own. Different weapons make it fight in completely different ways!

You Choose When to Switch

You can't control the cat, but you can control what it's holding
Every weapon triggers a unique effect when swapped in. Hand over the right weapon at the right moment, and turn the fight around in an instant!

Invest in Weapons and Items

Attach items to power up your weapons, but once they're on, they're on for good!

Wounds Follow You

Every messy fight comes at a price
Damage doesn't fully heal. Lingering wounds keep lowering your max health. Survive this fight, or save some strength for the boss?

Relics Rewrite the Rules

Powerful, but usually with a catch
Defeat elites to claim relics that completely change how you play. As for the side effects... the cat says it doesn't care.
