How Much For It? is a negotiation and horror simulation game set in a mysterious pawn shop, where you inspect the items customers bring in, determine their true value, and decide how much you're willing to pay.

Inspect the item. Question the story. Name your price.

But not every customer is honest, and some items come with a price that can't be measured in money.

INSPECT THE ITEMS

Every item has a past, a value, and something it may be hiding. Examine the details, compare them with the customer's story, and look for the clues they missed.

A small detail can reveal both an item's true value and just how honest the person sitting across from you really is.

READ THE CUSTOMER

Not everyone will tell you the truth. Some will exaggerate an item's value, some will hide an important detail, and others will invent an entire story from scratch.

Listen carefully, read their reactions, and catch the contradictions.

Are they bluffing, hiding something, or are you the one getting it wrong?

RUN THE NEGOTIATION

You set the price.

Make your offer, watch the customer's reaction, pull the deal your way.

Every customer has a different personality and patience. Lowball them or drag it out, and they'll walk away with the item.

FIND THE TRUTH

You don't have to take the customer's word for it.

As you upgrade the shop, unlock scales, UV lights and other inspection tools.

Weigh the item, expose what's hidden, use what you find against what you were told.

UPGRADE THE SHOP

Put the money you earn back into the shop. Buy new tools, expand your methods, start seeing what you couldn't see before.

LIVE WITH THE CURSED ONES

Some items aren't just old.

Some are cursed.

When you buy one, the story doesn't end at the counter. Depending on the curse, things start to shift around the shop. Fog, sounds, lights slipping out of place, events with no explanation.

A deal that looked profitable can pay you in something far worse than money.
