Tiny agents follow and reinforce one another's trails. Change how far they sense and how long their traces linger, then explore the branching networks and shifting paths that emerge.

Watch particles trace an invisible field of directions. Explore how changing the field turns wandering paths into sweeping currents and intricate trails.

Particle Life
A world of attraction and repulsion.
Tune how different particle types attract and repel one another. Explore the swarms, clusters, and moving structures their relationships create.

Pick a preset and jump straight into a pattern worth exploring. Change a setting, try another palette, and see how far you can take it.
Found a combination you love? Save your own preset so you can return to those settings and keep experimenting.

Build a palette in the Gradient Editor and try it across simulations. Give a delicate pattern sharp, clashing colors, or turn a restless swarm into a soft wash of tones.
Save your presets and color schemes when you find something worth returning to. Then change one thing and see where it leads.

Follow a hunch


Can you find a pattern that holds together? What makes it break apart? How different can the same system look with another palette?
You do not need the equations to start experimenting. If you enjoy the science, the motion gives you something to investigate. If you came for the colors, there is plenty to get lost in.
