About This Game

The real flight controller, in a manga world

Learn to fly FPV from your first hover to a pro licence, on the flight controller code a real racing quad runs.

WebFPV compiles the open source flight controller firmware most racing quads run and flies it a thousand times a second against a physics model of a real quad: a 710 gram 6S five inch in a race build and a freestyle build, and a 65 mm whoop. Rates, PIDs, filters, feedforward, anti-gravity and airmode are the firmware's own, not an imitation of them, so a tune that flies well here is a tune that makes sense on the bench.

And it looks like a manga: ink outlines, flat colour, speed lines when you are fast and an ink panel when you are not careful.

Fifty lessons in ten chapters, each one skill with a briefing, a coach in your ear and a medal to chase:

  • First Hover: lift off, hold a box, land on a pad, in Angle mode

  • Angle Mode Navigation: rings, figure eights, a slalom

  • Switching to Acro: what rate mode is, holding an angle, banked turns

  • Big Gaps: eight metres between two container stacks, then six, then four, then through a building

  • Flips and Rolls, then Segmented Flips and Rolls: one at a time, both ways, doubles, knife edge, hanging inverted

  • Gates, Racing and Freestyle: dive gates, double stacks, powerloops, Split-S, the Matty flip

  • Pro Licence: a checkride, a gap final, a freestyle final and a five lap championship

If you already fly, open every chapter and skip to the part you want.

Five race tracks for the five inch, three living rooms and eight Ultra Tiny Tracks for the whoop. Laps, splits, your ghost and your best.

A 65 mm ducted whoop through living rooms and the Ultra Tiny Tracks, on 28 inch gates, where the line matters more than the speed.

A whole town to fly round: roofs, alleys, a level crossing, a lake, the hills behind it. A trick recogniser that names 59 tricks and grades them clean or sloppy, combos, named gaps, close calls, and Hibari Yard, a yard built for freestyle.

A builder for race tracks, whoop rooms and freestyle maps, drawn from above and flown from the same page. Saved on your computer and in Steam Cloud, and exported to a file to give to a friend.

Tune it

The firmware's own rates curves and its PID sliders. Save tunes by name, fly them again with one press, and trade them as files.

Fly it with what you have

A radio in USB joystick mode (EdgeTX and OpenTX radios), an Xbox or PlayStation pad, a Steam Deck, or a keyboard for your first minutes. Mode 1 to 4, a calibration wizard, and Angle mode for learning.

A desktop game

Works offline. No account, no adverts, no telemetry. Steam Cloud saves, and your friends see what you are flying.

This is the complete desktop edition: the career, cloud saves, offline play and every map.
