About This Game

Just in Case is a 2–4 player co-op horror game about doing a terrible job with people you trust.

You owe the boss money. The boss has work. The work is simple: ride out to somewhere that recently went very wrong, take everything incriminating before anyone official shows up, and get back to the bus in one piece. Nobody explains what happened at these places. You're not paid to ask.

The messier, the better.
You're not looting treasure. You're recovering evidence, and evidence is worth more the harder it is to explain away. A clean file pays. A bloodstained one pays a lot better. The worst thing that ever happened in this building is also your best payday, so bag it and try not to think about it.

You only see what you point at.
Your vision is a narrow cone in whatever direction you're facing. Corners, back rooms, and whatever is standing behind you stay black until your flashlight lands on them. The map only keeps what you've already seen, and that's never the part you need.

Better with friends. Not safer.
Stick together and you move slow but keep each other breathing. Split up and you clear the place fast, right until one of you goes quiet on comms. Every location is procedurally built, so there's no memorizing the layout and no veteran who knows the way out.

Clock in, clock out, repeat.
Pick a job at the bus. Dive in, fill your bag, and extract before something fills its own. Sell what you hauled, scrape together the quota, and sign up for the next run. Miss the quota and the job's over. So are you.
