About This Game

Build. Jam. Share.

Chunk DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) is a multiplayer sandbox where music is something you build, block by block. Place sound blocks in a 3D grid, shape them into melodies and beats, and watch your song come alive as blocks light up in time with the sequence. Beyond the music, build out the space around it — structures, terrain, and scenery using a full range of building blocks — then hop on voice chat and jam with friends in real time.

Compose with blocks, not menus

Every sound block is a note. Drag, place, pitch-shift, apply effects, and sequence them directly in the world to build full songs — the game IS the DAW. Chain sections together, add a Repeat block when you want a part to loop, and hear your creation play back as you build it.

Build the world around your music

Sound blocks are only part of the toolbox. A wide range of non-sound building blocks let you shape terrain, structures, and full environments to set your songs in. Choose from multiple material and shader styles, from clean and solid to textured and translucent, or paint your own with the Material Designer to give every build its own visual identity.

Play together, out loud

Jump into a session with friends and build collaboratively, live. Built-in low-latency voice chat means you can sing, rap, or just talk through an idea while everyone hears the same track in sync — this isn't an afterthought feature, it's tuned specifically so you can perform together while you build.

Publish, discover, remix

Everything you build fits together like a music library. A Chunk is a song — its own self-contained build and sequence on a 3D grid. A Map is an album — a collection of Chunks strung together. And a Prefab is a single melody or drum loop — a smaller, reusable piece you can drop into any Chunk you're working on. Save and publish any of the three, browse what the community is building, follow and friend other creators, and remix songs you love — with credit always tracing back to the original creator. Share a build directly with a friend using a one-click share code.

Make it yours

Design custom pixel-art materials and skin every face of a block with the in-game Material Designer. Paint textures, save them to your library, and apply them across your builds so every creation looks as unique as it sounds.
