About This Game

THE MAJORITY CAN SHIFT WITH EVERY CARD

Welcome to the National Assembly. Motion de Censure transforms French politics into a strategic card game where candidates, alliances, media, and institutions become weapons in a high-stakes political debate.

Play your cards, build your influence, and force your opponent to reveal their strategy. But winning a single round is not enough. You must know when to conserve your strength, concede a debate, and save your most powerful cards for the decisive confrontation.

WIN TWO ROUNDS TO PREVAIL

Each match is played as a best-of-three contest. On your turn, play a card or pass for the remainder of the current round.

Deploy your cards across three influence rows: Field, Media, and Institutions. Strengthen your candidates, weaken opposing forces, move cards, protect your supporters, or trigger effects capable of overturning the majority.

Once both candidates have passed, the candidate with the most influence wins the round.

ADVANCE YOUR CAMPAIGN

Every completed debate advances your campaign, even after a defeat. Victories, however, accelerate your rise.

Your national Mandate gradually unlocks new political parties and additional difficulty levels. Each party also has its own Nomination progression, granting access to advanced and signature cards that are automatically added to its deck.

Develop several parties with distinct strategies and discover new ways to take control of the debate.

EIGHT PARTIES, EIGHT STRATEGIES

Media pressure, institutional control, grassroots mobilisation, resilience, disruption, or delayed effects: every party has its own strengths and requires a different approach.

Adapt your tactics to the cards available, the rows under threat, and your opponent’s strategy. A comfortable lead can disappear in seconds if you play your final card too soon.

FACE THE AI OR AN ONLINE CANDIDATE

Progress at your own pace against an AI offering several difficulty levels, then test your strategy against another candidate in online debates.

Multiplayer matches also contribute to your campaign and allow you to advance the party you represent.
