Why Early Access?

“Motor Havoc is entering Early Access because I want to build an active, engaged community around the game from the ground up. Player feedback will directly shape what comes next, additional weapons, enemies, and gameplay refinements are all still being worked on, alongside ongoing bug fixes and performance improvements to make sure the game runs as smoothly as possible. Cosmetics are being developed separately and will continue rolling out after the 1.0 release, they won't affect or delay the transition out of Early Access.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Motor Havoc is expected to be in Early Access for approximately two months, with full release targeted for October 2026.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full 1.0 release will build on the Early Access foundation with additional weapons and enemy types based on community feedback, further performance optimization and bug fixes, and a complete rollout of the cosmetics system, including new auras, trails, and vehicle customization options. Core gameplay, modes, and mechanics will remain largely the same, Early Access is about refinement and expansion, not a different game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core gameplay is complete and fully playable from start to finish across all game modes, Race, Havoc, Duel, and Quick Match. Players can expect some bugs, ongoing performance tuning, and a handful of features still in progress, including additional weapons, enemy variety, and expanded chat functionality. Cosmetic customization is limited at this stage and will expand significantly after 1.0 release.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Motor Havoc will be available at a discounted price during Early Access. The price will increase upon full 1.0 release to reflect the complete feature set.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I'll be actively engaging with players through community feedback channels, taking suggestions on balance, weapons, and features directly into consideration for updates. Bug reports and gameplay feedback from the community will directly shape what gets prioritized on the road to 1.0 release”
