About This Game

ABOUT THE GAME

The expedition that was meant to be a new milestone for humanity ended in disaster.

The base is destroyed. The crew is dead. All contact with Earth has been lost. You are the only survivor on Mars - a planet where every trip outside is a risk, and oxygen, water, and power are worth more than gold.

To survive, you'll have to rebuild the ruined base almost from scratch. Gather resources, grow your own food, recycle water, keep vital systems running, repair equipment, and gradually turn an abandoned facility into a place you can actually call home.

But survival is only the beginning.

As you explore Mars, you'll encounter events that defy explanation. Isolation, constant stress, and the struggle to stay alive will begin to take a toll on your mind.

Where does reality end and hallucination begin? What really happened to the crew? And are you truly alone on this planet?

Every decision has consequences. Every resource you spend could become a fatal mistake. Mars does not forgive carelessness.

Rebuild the base. Uncover the truth behind the disaster. Contact Earth. And do everything you can to make it home.

FARMING

Farming will be one of the core gameplay systems, allowing you to grow a variety of crops right on Mars.

To get started, you'll need just four things: an empty garden bed, water, seeds, and fertilized soil. The latter can be produced in a composter by processing Martian soil and organic matter.

Each crop has its own growth cycle and requires a different approach.

For example, carrots take one in-game day to mature. Once they're ready, you can harvest them as food. However, producing new seeds takes longer, so you'll need to plan your crops carefully - grow seeds today, harvest tomorrow, then start the cycle again.

Hops work differently. Their bushes take considerably longer to grow, but once mature, they can produce a harvest every day without needing to be replanted.

You'll also need the right tools to manage your crops. A garden trowel can be used to remove plants, while harvesting mature hop bushes with garden shears will give you additional seeds.

Farming isn't just a way to grow food. It's a complete system you'll need to learn, manage, and eventually make part of everyday life on Mars.

RELEASE DATE

There is no exact release date yet. Rather than rushing toward a deadline, I want to focus on getting the core mechanics and the overall amount of content to where they need to be.

The project is currently around 30% complete compared to the planned scope. The core foundations are already in place: basic interactions, inventory, bags, the first base prototype, terrain, air generation and distribution throughout the base, farming, nutrition, and other fundamental survival systems.

There is still a lot of work ahead: expanding player capabilities, developing the survival systems, filling out the world, creating the story content, and adding many new mechanics to make the game deeper and more engaging.

The game is being developed by a solo developer, which means every system goes through the full development cycle directly through me - from the initial idea and design to implementation, testing, and refinement.

At the current pace, I estimate that a full release is still around 1-2 years away. A specific release date will be announced once the game is truly ready.

DEVELOPMENT ROADMAP

The game is currently in alpha. The core systems and first gameplay mechanics are already taking shape, but the visuals and overall content are still far from the final vision.

I regularly share early builds of the game on my Telegram channel. Development builds are numbered from 0.1 to 1.0. Version 0.4 is already out, and development on 0.5 is currently underway.

0.1 - Foundation

Movement, world interaction, inventory, and the in-game console.

0.2 - First Interactions

Added basic item interactions, including picking up, carrying, and dropping objects.

0.3 - Mars & The First Base

Added the Martian terrain, the first base prototype, and a system for generating and distributing oxygen throughout the base.

0.4 - Farming (last release)

A major update focused on farming. An entire crop-growing system was designed and implemented, along with a wide range of new items and mechanics built around it.

0.5 - Cooking (in development)

The next update will introduce a full cooking system. Potatoes will no longer just be something you grow - you'll be able to prepare them by peeling them on a cutting board, boiling them in a pot, or frying them in a pan.

Prepared meals can be stored in food containers and kept in the refrigerator. This update will also introduce a new gameplay mechanic: food spoilage.

0.6 - Mars

One of the largest updates currently planned.

Mars will be greatly expanded and filled with new terrain and environmental details, including canyons, cliffs, craters, rocks, ores, and much more.

The base itself will also become more demanding to maintain. It will no longer be a completely safe haven where you can simply hide from your problems. Its systems will begin to fail, forcing you to monitor their condition and carry out repairs when necessary.

And that's only a small part of what's planned for Update 0.6.

0.7 - ???

0.8 - ???

0.9 - ???

1.0 - ???

The remaining updates will stay secret for now. Some surprises are better left undiscovered until the right moment.

Follow the development and add the game to your wishlist to stay up to date and get notified when the game is ready to come home.
