About This Game

You wake up somewhere familiar — maybe a hotel pool, maybe a waterpark corridor. But something's off. The tiles stretch on forever, the smell of chlorine burns your throat, and that once-familiar place has become a maze with no exit.

In POOLIMINAL, you're lost inside an endless network of interconnected pool rooms — a liminal space where every hallway resembles the last, yet none are truly the same. And somewhere deep below — in the dark, where the light can't reach — something is watching.

Key Features

🌊 Endless Poolrooms Aesthetic — Explore procedurally generated pool rooms bathed in yellowish fluorescent light, damp tile textures stretching into infinity. Each passage feels like reality dissolving a little further.

🖤 Thalassophobia-Driven Horror — No visible monsters, no cheap jump scares. The fear comes from the unknown depths: you can never quite see what's beneath the surface, only feel that something is moving.

🔊 Sound Design-Focused Atmosphere — Water ripples, distant muffled echoes, and the sound of your own breathing. POOLIMINAL relies on auditory tension far more than visual shock.

🚪 Interconnected Room System — Every room is somehow linked to the ocean itself: overflowing pools, leaking ceilings, staircases descending into deeper water. As you progress, you realize these spaces are part of something far larger — and far more real.

🧭 Disorientation Mechanics — No map. No compass. Just your instincts — and sometimes, your instincts will betray you.

Why POOLIMINAL?

If you're drawn to the unease of endless corridors, if you've ever felt that primal fear of not knowing what lurks beneath deep water — POOLIMINAL was made for you. This isn't a survival game. This is an experience of getting lost.

The water is waiting.
