FAQ

• How do you progress through the game?

  • VASTWAKE does not use open-world elements like traditional fishing games.

  • The game uses a chapter-based system, with each Entry containing 1-2+ different biomes.

• Is the game finished?

  • Not yet. Entries 0-1 are out with future entries arriving as free updates to this game.

• Can I play in a co-op or multiplayer mode?

  • A co-op feature is in active development! You will be able to play with up to 4 friends.

  • This is planned as the next major update to the game.

• How do I save in this game?

  • You won't need to press a save button at any time. This game has autosave and Steam Cloud.

  • Don't worry about saves not carrying over from new releases. VASTWAKE's saves always have room for additional content.

• Does VASTWAKE have controller support?

  • As of now, the game is designed only for PCs and laptops, using keyboard + mouse inputs. If requested, controller support could be considered in the future.

• Is VASTWAKE an arcade or retro-style game?

  • Although the pixel art might make the game look retro, VASTWAKE has HD visuals, advanced graphics, and an original soundtrack.

• Will there be any other updates?

  • Of course! However, VASTWAKE was never supposed to be a live service game, so don't expect constant updates.

  • Feature suggestions are welcome, but all features that are sent will be automatically accepted.

• So when's Entry 2 coming?

  • Entry 2 is planned for a late 2026 release! This and future entries will be more story-focused, so be prepared!

  • Expect new features, patches, and other updates even when future entries are still in development.
