Why Early Access?

“This game has been a passion project for over the past two years. I want to give my players the best experience possible and I feel Early Access is the best way to give players a chance to get involved with development. My hope is that Early Access can serve as a "pay it forward" method to give players the best possible game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It will stop being considered early access when I have nothing more to say in the main story. As of time of writing (July 2026), I am aiming for an estimated 2-3 years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to continue telling the story.
I am also looking into updating the music and sound to something more discrete (the current is mostly stock), which might also include the "babble" voice clips used by certain characters.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The entirety of the prologue and chapter 1 can be played through. Most major bugs have been removed from that section. It is possible to continue exploring the prologue and chapter 1 areas completion.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I have plans to gradually increase the price as more content is added. Given the episodic nature of the game, this is intended to be in conjunction with each chapter release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I'm very much open to hearing players' opinions and feedback, especially regarding gameplay. The battle system in particular is something that I am open to hearing feedback on, with the goal being keeping the battles quick and snappy. I am open to hearing feedback regarding the story as well, however I am not taking suggestions on where the story should go.

About This Game

Lose friends, break guitars, and [don't] be a hero!

Follow the story of Lupine, a guitar-playing wolf with a particularly fluffy tail, on his quest to fix his broken guitar and find reunite with his missing best friend: The Chosen Hero. But not everyone who's a friend is a friend and not everyone is an enemy is an enemy. Can you help Lupine restring both his guitar and the Hero's destiny? Or will fate have other plans in store?

Unfold a nuanced story about finding your own place [in/out]side of your family, finding yourself, and finding a way to fulfill a destiny that is is not your own.
