What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Who Got In? is a constantly evolving project. Early Access will allow us to develop the game together with the community, gather player feedback, and continuously improve the experience.

Although the game already offers a solid foundation, we are still working on expanding its content with new passengers, more branching conversations, random events, vehicles, gameplay improvements, and additional systems that will make each journey even more unique.

Our goal is to build a game where every passenger tells a different story, and we believe the best way to achieve this is by listening to the community during development.

Early Access will allow us to prioritize the features most requested by players, quickly fix bugs, and continue expanding the world of Who Got In? to deliver the best possible experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Who Got In? to remain in Early Access for approximately 12 to 18 months. This timeline may change depending on community feedback and the scope of the new features we plan to add. Our priority is to deliver a polished and content-rich experience rather than rushing to a final release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version will include the core game experience, allowing players to accept rides, explore the city, meet passengers with different personalities, engage in branching conversations, earn money, improve their reputation, and unlock new vehicles.

During the Early Access period, we will be constantly expanding the content with new passengers, stories, events, and improvements based on community feedback.

The full version will offer a much richer experience, including:

Many more passengers with unique personalities and stories.
New branching conversations and multiple outcomes depending on the player's decisions.
More random events and unexpected situations during travel.
New vehicles to unlock and drive.
Map expansion and new pickup and destination points.
More comprehensive progression and statistics systems.
Visual, performance, and interface improvements.
A greater variety of missions, secrets, and content to discover.

Our goal is for the final version to make each trip feel different, offering a highly replayable experience where there's always the possibility of encountering a completely new passenger or story.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the start of Early Access, Who Got In? already offers the core gameplay experience. Players can accept ride requests, navigate through the city using the in-game GPS, earn money, manage fuel, receive tips, pay traffic fines, and build their reputation as a driver.

The game also includes a growing roster of passengers with unique personalities and branching dialogue, making every ride feel different. The foundation of the progression, statistics, and driving systems is already in place.

During Early Access, we will continue expanding the game with new passengers, additional dialogue branches, random events, more vehicles, gameplay improvements, quality-of-life features, and overall polish based on community feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to offer Who Got In? at a lower price during Early Access as a way to thank players who support the game's development from the beginning.

As new content, features, vehicles, passengers, and gameplay systems are added throughout Early Access, we expect the price to increase when the full version is released. Players who purchase the game during Early Access will receive all future updates at no additional cost.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is a key part of the development of Who Got In?.

Throughout Early Access, we will actively listen to player suggestions, bug reports, and feature requests through the Steam Community Hub, discussions, and other community channels.

Our goal is to continuously improve the game by prioritizing the features and improvements that players care about most. This includes adding new passengers, dialogue branches, random events, vehicles, quality-of-life improvements, balancing gameplay systems, and fixing bugs.

We want the community to help shape the future of Who Got In?, making every update more enjoyable and every ride more memorable.”
