Why Early Access?

“HellDay is already fully playable from start to finish, with a complete escape objective, combat, exploration, hostile enemies, survival mechanics, base building, crafting, and an open world to explore. We are launching in Early Access to gather community feedback, improve gameplay, fix bugs, balance mechanics, and expand the game with additional content and features based on player suggestions.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect HellDay to remain in Early Access for approximately 12 months. This timeline may change depending on community feedback and development progress, but our goal is to deliver a polished and content-rich full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will expand upon the Early Access experience with additional areas to explore, more enemy types, improved enemy behavior, additional weapons and equipment, more survival mechanics, new objectives, enhanced world events, visual improvements, controller enhancements, optimization, and many quality-of-life improvements driven by community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version offers a complete gameplay loop. Players explore a large open-world island after surviving a helicopter crash, scavenge for supplies, fight dangerous creatures, carry key repair components, and repair a boat to escape. The game includes ranged combat, melee combat, enemy NPCs, inventory management, health and stamina systems, swimming, flashlight mechanics, random horror events, and save functionality. Additional content, balancing, and polish will continue throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to offer HellDay at a lower price during Early Access. As additional content and features are added and the game approaches full release, the price may increase.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We believe community feedback is an important part of making HellDay the best game it can be. During Early Access, we will actively monitor Steam Discussions, community feedback, bug reports, and player suggestions. Updates will focus on improving gameplay, fixing bugs, balancing combat and enemy behavior, optimizing performance, and adding new content based on the most valuable community feedback. We also plan to post regular development updates so players can follow the game's progress and see how their feedback helps shape future releases.”

The island is filled with dangerous creatures, mysterious events, and hidden secrets. Every journey requires careful planning, resource management, and exploration as you fight to stay alive.

HellDay is actively being developed. Throughout Early Access we will continue expanding the world, improving AI, adding new enemies, expanding crafting and base building, introducing additional survival mechanics, optimizing performance, and incorporating community feedback to shape the game's future.

HellDay contains horror themes, dark environments, and combat against hostile creatures. Players use firearms and melee weapons to defend themselves in tense survival situations.
