What Was That?! is a cozy-spooky roguelite deckbuilder where you play as a household pet exploring a home after dark.

When the humans fall asleep, the house changes. Everyday objects become mysterious encounters. Some become friends. Others become enemies.

Explore different rooms, investigate strange objects, and face bizarre enemies inspired by things every pet knows — cardboard boxes, tangled yarn, robot vacuums, and more.

Build your deck, manage your Stress, and trust your instincts to survive until morning.
