What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The game will not release in Early Access in a full state. The early access allows us to release the game chapter by chapter, until the game is fully released.

The early access will also allow us to fine tune gameplay mechanics as development progresses depending on user feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will remain in early access until the final chapter is released. This could take a couple years, and we plan a full release, outside of Early Access, around 2029-2030.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Once the game will be fully released, there will be no major content update, outside of (maybe) additional free content that will not have any impact in the main campaign.

Each major update in the Early Access will mostly include either major changes in the story, as in new chapter releases, or major changes to the game's art direction and game design.

Minor updates will includes things like new weapons added, and other small fixes and changes to the game that doesn't impact much of the game's experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, only the prologue is available.

The main important core game mechanics are present, but most of the weapons are not added yet, apart from the main ones that are given to the player in the few currently available story maps.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“As each new chapter will release, the price will also increase along with it. Each price increased will follow major updates by a few weeks or month, and there will be an announcement each time the price would change.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Players can help us refine the gameplay through feedbacks. We wish to remain close to our community, so player feedback is important. You can follow updates and give feedback on content currently available in the game through the Discord server and the Steam community.”

AP400: TACTICAL SURVIVAL BRUTALITY

You are the unnamed AP400 unit "51-601", a defective combat android stored away in the depths of a research facility, set out to take revenge...

"Project Bad Apple's AP400" is a fast-paced FPS that takes inspiration from numerous games that had made an impact, such as Half-Life 2 (2004), and DOOM (2016). It is, in its core, a single-player experience.

The game mixes elements of survival and fast-paced brutal gameplay, where you can fight for your own life and survive through the city of New Positia.

Features:

  • A lot of weapons. I do mean a lot. Is that an excuse to reuse the same code with different stats? I don't know what you meeaaaan by that... No seriously, there is a lot of weapons.

  • Exchange points gained from gameplay for MORE weapons!

  • A unique linear story that honestly brought me to the edge of insanity.

  • Lot of memorable characters that took way too long to write.

  • A... fridge with a shotgun?

  • Hidden secrets and bosses.

Hang on, can we just, talk about the shotgun fridge thing? Who thought it was a good i-

Project Bad Apple's AP400

The main campaign, and how the game was introduced from the beginning.

The year is 2018, SIL Corporations, originally a military company, is aiming to put in service hundreds of AP400 combat units, all working for their personal PMC (Private Military Company).

And you, unit 51-601, are one of old models, decomissioned and put away, still conscious. And you have something that neither the newer SE series, nor the old barely working prototypes have.

ENDLESS SURVIVAL PROTOCOL

A FREE alternative endless gamemode, where ressources are no longer a concern. Fight wave after wave, with SSSTYLE (or not), until you die.

With access to all weapons from the game, and all modules, this is by far the best way to train.

Mature Content Description

This game, in its final state, may contain themes related to:
