About This Game

You are the shopkeeper

Magic Shop Simulator is a first-person, open-world voxel game where the shop is yours to run, and yours to protect. Forage by day, brew at your cauldron, sell to the village, and hold the line when the monsters come. It's cozy where you want it to be, and dangerous the moment you push your luck.

The loop

Gather. Head into the wilds for four ingredients: Firebloom in the grasslands, Glowshroom by the trees, Moonpetal along the beaches, and Crystal Shard up in the stone hills.

Brew. Back at the shop, work your cauldron. You start with a single recipe, the Healing Tonic, and unlock nine more as your shop grows.

Sell. Customers file in from open to close, each after a specific potion and each with only so much patience. Stock your shelves, ring them up, and build your reputation one sale at a time.

The twist: magic has a smell

A shop full of magic reeks of it, and that scent draws the wilds straight to your door.

Four ward stones keep the monsters out, but their charge fades as you play, and keeping them lit is your biggest money sink. So here's the daily gamble: let a ward lapse and open anyway, and a breach hits. Creatures storm the plaza, your customers scatter, and your reputation takes the blow.

But those same monsters drop the rare ingredients you'd otherwise be hunting for, right on your doorstep.

Run the wards thin on purpose and you can bait monsters to farm loot, trading safety and sales for reagents. Play it safe, or push your luck. Your call, every single day.

It only gets bigger

Fame has a price. Every reputation milestone summons a mini-boss and its escort pack straight to your storefront. And when you finally reach the top rank of Master Shopkeeper, an ancient wyrm takes notice and lays siege: a multi-phase dragon fight built to break a maxed-out shop.

Your workers fight for you

Every hand you hire (the Forager, the Brewer, the Cashier, the Herbalist, the Beastkeeper) is a visible familiar that goes about its work right where you can watch it. When a breach hits, they drop everything and defend the shop at your side, Terraria-style. A breach isn't just your fight. It's the whole crew's.

Build the shop of your dreams

  • Expand from a cramped Small shop to a grand Large emporium, with shelf space for everything you brew.

  • Automate the grind by putting workers on foraging, brewing, and the till so the shop runs while you're out hunting.

  • Build a homestead with garden plots and creature pens, so you never forage from scratch again.

  • Spend your gold on permanent upgrades that stick.

Features

  • First-person, open-world voxel sandbox

  • A satisfying core loop: forage, brew, sell

  • 10 potion recipes to unlock

  • A risk/reward ward system: bait monsters and farm loot on your own terms
