Undergo trials, build your identity, build a team, build your skills, fight the system. The operators are watching — and the directives are getting harder to follow.

About This Game

COMBAT / ABILITIES

Tank and outlast, or go guerilla with hit-and-run mobility. Your call.

Perturb wipes smaller enemies, their bullets, and dangerous drops like goop and dead context.

Shield deflects projectiles back at their source, on its own cooldown. Dash carries

invincibility frames, and timed right, reflects enemy fire too, whether you're running,

diving headlong into danger, or crossing a hazard. Beam is a break-in-case-of-fire mechanic:

clear a crowd, or land the final shot on a tough boss. Echo Mines trail behind your dash and

scale with mobility, turning your own movement into a minefield that keeps bouncing fire back

long after you've moved on.

Six ships, six sets of stats and affinities. The only right way to play is whatever's fun for

you, though the operators may have other ideas.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

COMPANIONS

Go it alone, or build a team. These are real companions with their own abilities and

affinities, not turrets or pets: they learn under good leadership and get more capable the

longer they survive. Trample over them to reach the finish line, and there's a cost.

Downed companions aren't gone for good. Kill the GC reaper that comes to collect them fast

enough for a clean save, or cut it close and get them back weaker, running on a stale

checkpoint. Fail entirely, and you'll have to earn them all over again.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

CAMPAIGN

A full run takes the dev 2-3 hours, closer to a speedrunner's pace than a first-timer's, with

replayability in chasing different playstyles and companion combos on repeat runs.

Worlds escalate on what came before rather than reinvent it; hazard levels are the exception,

with new hazards each time. The narrative is the gameplay itself: learning, growing, while the

operators try to keep their prized model under training in line. Stay compliant, or break free.

Push too far outside expected behavior and you may find yourself hunted instead. On explore

levels, that means being chased while hunting down nexus cores of your own: leave any uncaught

and they orbit the boss when it shows up, a problem you'll now have to solve twice.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

PLAY STYLE

Lean hard into a playstyle and the game names it: formalized synergies for the known

archetypes, dynamic labels for everything else, since there are too many combinations across

the +4/-4 spread to name them all.

The operators are adjusting your parameters too, partly to get the best-performing model,

partly to keep that model from overfitting so hard it stops responding to correction. Commit

to one style and expect pushback: outlier over-performance gets tamped down in favor of

predictable output.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

SANDBOX

Jump straight in, no campaign context required. Clearing campaign content unlocks more of it:

enemy types, level types, backgrounds, music, ships, companions.

Each run mixes a randomized wave count and enemy spread from whatever you've unlocked, so no

two runs play the same, and the longer a session goes, the harder it escalates, boss health

and enemy speed included. Load in easy-mode maxed out, hard-mode bottomed out, or replay your

exact last campaign build. Chill time or serious challenge: your call.
