Why Early Access?

“The War of Genesis: Idle Loot is an idle farming RPG you enjoy right on your desktop.

We believe that a trade-enabled economy (via the Steam Community Market) can only be tested and refined through the market flow and farming balance that real players create together. To go through the process of checking and fine-tuning farming and the overall economy balance together with you before the full release, we've chosen Early Access. We aim to gradually improve the game with reference to the community's diverse feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We anticipate roughly up to two months, depending on circumstances. This period may be flexibly adjusted based on how content development and community feedback progress.

Our goal is not to hit a fixed date, but to deliver a sufficiently complete experience.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full version, we aim to broaden the content and overall polish by reflecting player feedback gathered during Early Access. The directions we currently have in mind are as follows:

- Content expansion: We're planning additional farming areas, growth stages, and a variety of content.
- Economy & trading: We plan to stabilize the player-to-player trading system and continuously fine-tune the economy balance.
- Convenience features: We plan to keep improving the desktop overlay UI and overall ease of control.
- Content volume: We aim to expand the overall depth of progression and things to enjoy.

The above may change depending on development progress and community opinions.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In the current Early Access version, you can enjoy the game's core fun—idle farming, character growth, and player-to-player trading. From real-time item collection on your desktop to trading between players via the Steam Community Market, the core content is playable.

During Early Access, we plan to increase content volume, fine-tune the balance, and raise the overall polish based on your feedback. Some content and features are still in development and may be added or adjusted.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The War of Genesis: Idle Loot can be played for free in both the Early Access and full versions, and some in-game content may be offered as paid items (such as passes).”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to communicate with players primarily through the Steam Community and Discord.

- Steam discussion boards: We continuously gather bug reports, improvement suggestions, and balance/farming-related feedback here.
- Discord: As with the Steam discussion boards, we continuously gather feedback such as bug reports and improvement suggestions.
- Announcement updates: We share changes to the game and how your opinions have been reflected through Steam announcements.

We aim to listen closely to the wide range of feedback you share and refine the game together with you.”
