What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“OASIS II has quite a larger scope than OASIS: Tokyo did, so as a solo developer I want to consider players' ideas and feedback earlier in the development process than I typically would to make sure I'm heading in the right direction.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I currently plan for OASIS II to be in early access for around 2 years, but it may change as the project evolves. There will typically be a major update every quarter.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan for the full version of OASIS II to have a main storyline, more regions, a larger variety of map types, and all around more content - more quests, weapons, gear, attachments, cyberware, the works.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version contains all major features necessary for the main gameplay loop.
There are currently 3 regions, 3 map types, 20+ weapons with a variety of attachments, as well as 10 different objective types used for mission generation.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of the game will increase with certain milestones during Early Access. Price changes will be announced beforehand.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I will primarily use a Discord server for feedback and will be active there. I also create monthly update posts.”

About This Game

As part of an up-and-coming outfit of mercenaries, break your way into a shady underworld ruled by mega-corporations. Make yourself known through contracts from corporations, criminal organizations, and anyone else who's willing to pay.

Dynamic Missions

While completing procedurally generated contract missions, you'll encounter a variety of enemies such as organized gangs, corporate strike teams, and foreign PMCs. Each mission has a variety of loot which can be sold or stored for later use, however if you die, you'll lose it as well as the gear you brought in.

Contacts

Contacts are your main lifeline in this world. They're your shops and fixers. They've also got their own problems. You can help them with those problems. In return, they'll help you source more contracts and help you gain reputation in their region, among other rewards.

As you climb in the underworld, you'll grow stronger with your own unique build with an assortment of stats and associated skill trees. Install various cyberware that enhance your capabilities further, including additional HUD elements. Utilize a variety of weapons and attachments, as well as alternate types of ammo.
