About This Game

En Garde Gambit is a tactical roguelite about reading your opponent's moves. Each turn, you and every enemy commit moves, guessing each other's intent, and then the planned moves all happen at once. Each tile can be a deadly step into your enemy's attack. Outguess them. One clean turn can clear the whole board.

You have a diverse arsenal at your disposal. Rapier and musket are the core, but you have various other tools, skills, and upgrades to unlock. From dashes, ripostes, blinks, traps, mines, powder casks, phantom swords, mirrors that reflect projectiles, and ultimate moves that depend on your build.

Beware of your environment. Each map has a unique quirk that can end a run to those that are careless. Quicksand that swallows the careless, thin ice, glass floors that shatter underfoot, bogs, fire, and the void waiting past every rim. Use them to your advantage.

Gambits are a unique rule-bending modifiers that reshape each duel. There are 20 Gambits in total that can throw the map in absolute chaos with their unique effect. Gambit also refers to the difficulty stages of the game. Gambit 5 is the highest difficulty, which is for players that want to push the game to its limit in difficulty and chaos.

Roguelite runs. Draft upgrades after every round, chase secret unlocks and charms, customize your fencer, and take the run as far as it goes.

Together, alone, or against. Singleplayer, Online co-op, and PvP duels. Enjoy the game in a variety of ways.
