About This Game

A grimdark tactical roguelike. Pick a hero, draft an army, raid a rift, and decide at every node whether to go home rich or go one deeper. Runs are short.

Command your army on the grid

Your units fight as stacks: one tile, one unit type, as many bodies as you brought. Each turn you move a stack, attack, or cast a spell, and the enemy answers in turn order.

One hero per faction, and one for none

Choose a hero, draft your keepsake, starting units and first spell, and ride out with a signature relic. Every relic you buy or find after that makes the hero stronger, and the rare ones bring an effect of their own.

Spells that play by their faction's rules

Fire burns and cashes the burn in, Water swings the turn order, Forest roots and regrows, Light mends the wounded and punishes the many, Dark pays in blood. Pick one at the gate, buy the rest in the rift.

Every node is a choice

The rift is a branching map. Fights, elites, a boss, shops, story events with real consequences, laid across biomes from snowfield to swamp to crystal cave. You pick the path, and each node you pass is one you cannot come back to.

Get it out, or lose it

Resources are yours once you extract or beat the boss. Fall first and you lose what you carried. What you banked before stays banked.

Rebuild the kingdom

Spend what you brought home on buildings that change the next run. One path per faction, neutral buildings for every army, and the Runic Anchor above them all.
