About This Game

FREEWAVE is an epic spaceship action-adventure. Return home to Earth and explore a vast, tattered city in search of answers. Smash through windows, fly between crumbling buildings and become a master pilot. Fight against the oppressive tech regime ULTRASOFT, defend yourself against rotten monsters, and make new friends along the way. All hand drawn with pen and watercolor.

Spaceship Platforming

Master unique spaceship flight mechanics in order to maneuver your way around a post apocalyptic New York. FREEWAVE combines classic 2d platformer mechanics with a modern physics based spaceship element. Other tools are available to navigate the collapsing environment of FREEWAVE, such as the grappling hook and metal detector. Scavenge resources and learn more about what happened in this city. 

Freeform Combat

There are a variety of ways to deal with your enemies in FREEWAVE, whether they be rotted zombies or AI robots. Use melee weapons such as the knife, axe or hammer. Or you can get creative and use your spaceship or grappling hook as a weapon. FREEWAVE also features a variety of drug power ups, such as cocaine to speed you up, or mushrooms to give you a new perspective.

Hand Crafted Watercolor World

All the art in the game has been carefully hand drawn using pens and watercolor on paper. Experience the unique art style which brings the world of FREEWAVE to life!
