About This Game

Build a village with Tamo you hatch from fossils. Give them jobs around the village or take them with you to explore and fight.

Hatch new companions

Look for fossils in forests and along the water’s edge. Your chances of finding rare fossils depend on how deep you dig. Bring your finds to the village incubator. You won’t be able to identify a new species until the Tamo hatches.

Experiment with genes

As your Tamo grow, you can modify their genes to change how certain abilities work and try different builds. Fire attacks can deal electric damage or leave flames that stick to an enemy and keep dealing damage after the first hit. Collect gene samples from your Tamo and use them to splice genes. Check the possible results and their odds before each attempt.

Build your village

Use wood and ore to put up buildings. Assign Tamo to gather and haul materials or work the fields. While they work, you can fish and cook or expand the village.

Each Tamo has its own personality. They can become friends or fall out with one another. Hunger and exhaustion can leave them stressed enough to go on strike, so make sure everyone has food and somewhere to rest.

Choose your party

Tamo leave their jobs when they join your party. Decide who stays at work and who comes along. Your companions fight on their own in real-time battles. You can direct their movement, focus their attacks on one enemy, and aim their abilities.

Fight wild packs as you explore. Light the braziers in the ruins to challenge giant Tamo. If you lose a battle, everything in your bag stays on the battlefield. Keep exploring for more fossils and materials, or head home to store your finds.

Use the elements

Fire can spread through grass and wooden buildings, but stone walls won’t burn. Water puts out fires and leaves the ground wet. Electricity can travel through wet ground and nearby metal.

Play with friends

Play solo or share a village with friends in online co-op. One player can search for fossils while others gather supplies or work on the village. Explore together with your Tamo.
