Why Early Access?

“As an independent solo developer, I need time to continue improving and expanding the game. Early Access will allow me to develop the project progressively while taking player feedback into account, in order to deliver the best possible experience”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect the game to be in early access for approximately one or two years. I prefer to take the time to develop the game to version 1.0 in order to minimize bugs and other issues, and thus offer a more stable and complete experience to players.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Version 1.0 will be a richer and more expansive experience. We plan to add new levels, a variety of enemies, and brand-new game modes to deepen immersion in the Backrooms universe.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The early access version is already fully playable and stable. It currently includes more than 10 complete levels and a functional multiplayer co-op system. Each world offers its own unique mechanics and secrets.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price as new content and features are added.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“In a certain version of the game, there will be polls on the Discord server where players can choose the new features to be added. This way, players will be able to see the things they would like to have in the game come to life!”
