“Because additional content is planned for the complete exerience, but main parts of the game is ready in a playable condition
Game is being launched in Early Access because the core gameplay loop and primary mechanics are fully playable and stable, but the complete vision for the game involves expanded content and features. Also showing these additions to the players as they come will allow the game to be built alongside our community and feedback

Early Access will make it possible to gather crucial player feedback, fine-tune game balance, optimize systems, and prioritize requested quality-of-life improvements. Wea re fully committed to providing regular updates that are stated on the roadmap, to deliver a complete, polished 1.0 release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan for the game to remain in Early Access for approximately 12 months, with a target full release around August 2027. This timeline provides enough time to implement planned content updates and incorporate player feedback, though the exact timeframe may adjust slightly based on community input during development.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Without guaranteeing any specific features, here are some that we're excited to potentially add during the early access period: a new card system with various cards to make the end game more strategical, more maps, more balanced income andconquer costs, ways to strategise even more and balance high risk-high reward strategy”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Venture: Kingdoms is at a stage where its mechanics, feature and content allmost complete. That is to say, feature and content complete for the Early Access build. This build consists of 3 maps, 4 strategical buildings , supporting up to 8 player games online or local. As well, it's perfectly stable and ready for Players to explore.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. Right now keeping the price helps us to reach as much players as possible for feedback. The game price currently reflects that of a work-in-progress. As more of it is completed, the price will go up to represent that.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Players will be invaluable to help find bugs, feature, content and balance suggestions. Steam forums will be vital to contact with the players and will be on our radar.”

Join a lobby of up to 8 players and fight in nail-biting, turn-based showdowns where the bold and the cunning rule in Venture: Kingdoms. Every match is a tactical puzzle presented on a pristine, gridless 16-bit RPG map, perfectly laid over a rustic wooden table surface to simulate a classic tabletop experience.

Key Features:

Calculated Expansion & Conquest Expansion is driven by a thrilling risk-and-reward system based on natural topography. When you target adjacent territories, their geographical defense is calculated as a base percentage cost. Commit to your invasion route and the game rolls a 100-sided die in the background—if your roll is greater than the total difficulty, the land is instantly yours.

Build and Upgrade Your Empire Gold is your lifeblood, earned by claiming resource-rich plains or heavily fortified but impoverished mountains. Invest your wealth into powerful structures to alter the mathematical odds of your survival:

The Palace : Your economic heart, generating a steady, linear gold income to fund your empire's expansion.

Barracks : Your offensive engine, steadily reducing the risk penalties when you invade new territories.

Defensive Tower : A towering fortress that drastically increases the difficulty for any rival trying to breach your borders.

Astrology Center : A hub for research, which generates cards to manipulate the board and ruin friendships without ever attacking anywhere.
