You are Darian Veyrath, the illegitimate son of House Veyrath, a noble family ruling one of the realm’s richest wine and grain regions. When a wealthy relative dies and leaves you a vast fortune, you become too valuable to dismiss and too dangerous to welcome.

From childhood through adolescence and into adulthood, every season changes what Darian knows, whom he trusts, and what others believe he might become.
