Why Early Access?

“The core gameplay mechanics of Shootrix are already fully implemented and highly polished. However, given that it is a competitive, battle-focused PvP puzzle game, we believe that real player feedback is absolutely vital to fine-tune the balance of AI opponents, upcoming block distributions, and the overall fun factor. During Early Access, we plan to actively listen to the community to refine our level design, identify the additional content players truly want, and maximize the completeness and quality of the official release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to remain in Early Access for approximately [6 months to a year]. While this duration may vary slightly depending on the pace of player feedback and the progress of additional content development, our ultimate goal is to deliver a highly polished full version as soon as possible while actively communicating with our community.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full version, we plan to expand the following features to provide players with a much richer and deeper experience:

Expansion of New Bot Configurations: Adding a large number of diverse and challenging bots.

Addition of Player-vs-Player (PvP) Features: Implementing server-based PvP multiplayer elements.

Customization Options: Expanding cosmetic skins for the cute cat characters and adding visual themes for the stages.

System Enhancements: Fully supporting Steam Achievements and a ranking (leaderboard) system to compete with global players.

Player Feedback Integration: Completing balance adjustments, quality-of-life (QoL) improvements, and overall optimization.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version is stable and fully ready for players to experience the core fun of Shootrix. The foundational arcade puzzle system of shooting and destroying blocks is completely implemented, and ready-to-play stages are fully available. With the basic UI/UX and in-game visual effects already in place, you can enjoy a seamless gameplay experience without any issues.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“To express our gratitude to the early players who trust us by purchasing the game and sharing their valuable feedback during Early Access, the Early Access version is offered at a lower price. Upon the full release, the price will increase slightly to reflect the value of the newly added massive content and expanded gameplay systems.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will use our players' voices as the compass guiding our development direction. We plan to actively utilize Steam Discussions and our Discord channel to daily monitor and gather bug reports, difficulty feedback, and new ideas. Through regular update patch notes, we will transparently share how player feedback is being integrated into the game, beautifully shaping Shootrix together with our community.”
