About This Game

What If Your Ordinary Life Suddenly Turned Upside Down?

You have a stable job. Someone you love. A future that feels certain. Life is ordinary. Comfortable, even.

Until it isn’t.

Meet Utari, a young woman whose life seems perfectly normal from the outside. She has built a career, found someone she plans to marry, and left the uncertainties of childhood far behind her.

At least, that is what she believes.

Then the dreams begin. Fragments of places she does not remember. A mysterious boy calling her name. Familiar faces that should mean nothing to her. Visions that feel less like nightmares, and more like memories trying to return. Before long, the boundaries between the life Utari knows and the past she cannot remember begin to collapse.

What starts as a series of unsettling encounters becomes a journey into forgotten places, unexplained disappearances, supernatural entities, and a mystery tied to a childhood she never knew she had lost.

To find the truth, Utari must return to the memories buried deepest within her, and confront the possibility that forgetting them may never have been an accident.

What would you do if the life you knew was built upon something you were made to forget?

A Past She Can’t Remember. A Truth That Refuses to Stay Buried.

101 | FORGOTTEN is a psychological horror visual novel that combines hand-drawn narrative storytelling with first-person 3D investigation, environmental exploration, and clue-driven puzzles.

Follow Utari as an ordinary life gradually unravels into a supernatural mystery. Explore abandoned locations, investigate strange occurrences, uncover hidden documents, solve environmental puzzles, and piece together fragments of a past that refuses to stay forgotten.

Set in a fictional world inspired by Bali and Southeast Asian supernatural folklore, the story explores memory, identity, grief, trauma, relationships, and the secrets people choose to bury.

Characters

Utari

A young woman who has spent most of her life believing her childhood was simply something she could no longer remember.

Kind, hardworking, and deeply devoted to the people around her, Utari has built a normal life for herself. But when impossible memories begin resurfacing, she is forced to question everything she knows about her past, and eventually, herself.

Raka

Utari’s fiancé and one of the people closest to her. Charismatic, confident, and familiar, Raka becomes part of Utari’s increasingly strange journey as supernatural events begin tearing through the life they thought they understood.

But when memory itself cannot be trusted, understanding the people closest to you may not be as simple as it seems.

Detective Arya

An investigator whose search for answers gradually intersects with Utari’s past.

Driven by an unresolved mystery of his own, Arya follows a trail of disappearances, strange events, and buried secrets that leads him toward the same truth Utari is beginning to uncover.

For him, the case is anything but professional.

Face the Spirits That Hunt You

The darkness is filled with faces that refuse to be forgotten. From sorrowful apparitions to horrifying entities born from lingering hatred, every ghost you encounter hides a fragment of a mystery waiting to be uncovered.

But be warned: not every spirit wishes to be remembered. Some exist only to stop anyone from discovering the truth, forcing Utari, Raka and Arya to confront unimaginable horrors before they can reach the answers they seek.

Features

Step Beyond the Visual Novel

Leave the safety of dialogue screens behind and explore unsettling environments from a first-person perspective.

Search abandoned locations, inspect objects, uncover hidden clues, and investigate spaces where even the smallest detail may matter.

Venture through a decaying classroom where silence hides unsettling secrets. Search for clues, interact with your surroundings and solve environmental puzzles as you unravel the mystery one step at a time.

Clue-Driven Puzzles

Observe carefully. Connect information. Solve environmental puzzles using clues hidden throughout the world. Each solution moves the investigation forward, and may reveal something Utari was never supposed to remember.

Challenge yourself with immersive puzzles woven naturally into the world. From setting the correct time on a mysterious wall clock to other environmental challenges, each puzzle rewards careful observation and logical thinking.

Uncover the Supernatural

Encounter spirits and mysterious entities connected to the tragedies surrounding Utari’s forgotten past.

Some may hold answers. Others would rather make sure those answers remain buried.

Shape Utari’s Journey

Your choices influence relationships, reveal different sides of the mystery, and can lead Utari toward multiple possible outcomes.

Who will you trust?

Which truths will you pursue?

And what will remain when all the forgotten memories return?
