Coming Soon To Early Access

The developers of this game intend to release as a work in progress, developing with the feedback of players.

Note: Games in Early Access are not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development. Learn more

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Mojiworld is a fast, systems-heavy action RPG, and systems like these
only get properly tuned by watching a lot of people play them. The
content and the mechanics are in place, but the decisions that matter
now are ones we would rather make with players than in isolation:
which classes feel best to play, how fast progression should move,
which bosses are genuinely exciting versus merely difficult.
Early Access lets us put the game in your hands, see how it is actually
played, and rework the parts that are not fun yet. We would rather ship
something we are still improving alongside the community than a version
we guessed at on our own.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Mojiworld to be in Early Access for around three
months. That is an estimate rather than a commitment - if player
feedback points to work worth doing properly, we would rather take the
time to do it than cut the period short.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our plan is for the full version to be a deeper, better-tuned version
of what you can already play, shaped by what players tell us.
We plan to:
- Rework encounters and boss fights based on how players actually
approach them, including reworking any that do not land
- Continue polishing animation, visual effects and moment-to-moment
game feel across the board
- Add more endgame content and repeatable challenges for players who
finish the campaign
- Improve balance and progression pacing throughout
We treat this as our intent rather than a guarantee. Some of it will
change as we learn what players enjoy most, and we would rather follow
that than a plan written before anyone had played.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Mojiworld is playable from the opening through to endgame. This is not
a demo or a vertical slice - the full game is there today:
a complete skill system, a campaign that runs to its conclusion, boss
encounters, and endgame progression.
What we are looking for is not reports of missing content, but opinions
on the content that exists: what feels good, what feels flat, and what
you would change.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we add content and features
during Early Access. Players who buy during Early Access receive
everything we ship afterwards at no additional cost.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Player feedback is the whole reason we are doing Early Access, so we
want it to be easy to give. We plan to read and reply in the Steam
Community discussions, and to talk directly with players about what is
and is not fun.
The questions we most want answered are the ones we cannot answer
ourselves: which class you enjoyed and why you stopped playing the
others, which fight you replayed and which you skipped, where
progression dragged. We plan to post about what we are working on and
what changed because of feedback, so you can see your input landing in
the build.”

About This Game

Remember when worlds felt endless?

Mojiworld is a love letter to the golden age of side-scrolling MMOs — rebuilt as a single-player adventure you can sink into tonight. Every tile, tree, and townsfolk is hand-pixeled. Every corner hums with that warm, early-2000s "one more map" feeling.

⚔️ PICK YOUR PATH
Choose from MULTIPLE classes, each with its own feel, skills, and playstyle. Swing, snipe, cast, or heal your way across the world — and make the build yours.

🗺️ EXPLORE A HAND-PIXELED CONTINENT
Journey through the various continents — rolling meadows, buzzing towns, and dungeons that reward the curious. No waypoint-chasing. Just you, the map, and the urge to see what's past the next screen.

🌐 AND THIS IS ONLY CHAPTER ONE
Mojiworld launches as a complete single-player adventure — but the world is built for more.

Play the world solo first. Meet everyone else there later!

The full online MMORPG follows after a successful launch: stay tuned for guilds, raids, and a living world shared with other players.

During development we used generative AI tools to create the some of this game's assets. This includes 2D art and audios. All AI-generated assets were produced during development, reviewed by us, and ship as fixed files in the build. Some were hand-edited, recoloured, composited or retimed afterwards. Game code, design, writing and dialogue are authored by us.
