Cutesor is a cursor creation studio with a built-in pixel editor, Steam Workshop integration, and a reactive cursor system that brings your desktop to life. Whether you want to download cursors from the community or design your own from scratch, Cutesor gives you the tools.

A real pixel art editor, built for cursors

Skip the basic "paint a rectangle" tools other cursor apps ship with. Cutesor's editor is designed for serious pixel work: a full drawing toolset, animation timeline, frame onion-skinning, symmetry modes, reference image overlay, polygon,  shading tools, intuitive transforms, shades (color ramps), tokens (semantic palette identifiers), multi-crop sprite-sheet import, animation timing controls, click and directional variants, and a workflow that respects pixel art conventions.

Per-slot pick and mix

Mix cursors from different schemes freely. Use Creator A's arrow with Creator B's hand and Creator C's busy spinner. Per-slot tracking means each Windows cursor slot is independent — pick your favorite for each.

Cursors that react

Click swap, directional cursors, and palette-aware design. Your cursor can react to left-click, right-click, and the direction you're moving the mouse — each with its own custom animation. Tray app — your reactive cursor, without the playtime inflation

Reactive cursors normally need the full app running to work, which on Steam means racking up hundreds of "played" hours just for a moving arrow. Cutesor's tray app sidesteps that: it runs quietly in the background, keeping click-swap, directional, and animated cursor features fully active 24/7, without keeping the main application open or padding your playtime stats.

Palette swap — every cursor is recolorable

Found a cursor you love but the wrong color? Slide a hue control or choose from a color palette and watch the whole design recolor coherently — the creator's shading stays intact, only the main color shifts. Cutesor's tokens system means every cursor that supports it becomes infinitely personalizable, without breaking the original art.

Steam Workshop, properly integrated

Browse, subscribe, vote, and report — full Workshop integration. Filter by Windows cursor type (arrow, hand, busy, etc.), search by name, tag, or special features (themable, clickable, directional). Cursors update automatically when creators publish revisions. Upload your own work and share with the community.

Pixel-perfect at any size

Cutesor pre-renders your cursors at every size you need using nearest-neighbor scaling, so your 32×32 design stays crisp whether displayed at 48, 64, 96, 128, or 256 pixels. No blurring, no Windows-default scaling artifacts.
