About This Software

Talk in Discord, VRChat or any game, and people hear a natural feminine or masculine voice instead of yours. It runs on our servers, so you don't need a graphics card. Nothing you say is stored.

How it works

  • Pick a voice. There are ready-made voices in your language.

  • Hold your talk key, or a button on your VR controller, and talk. People hear the new voice while you're still speaking.

  • Your accent and your emotion carry over into the new voice.

  • It works in any app where you can pick a microphone, and GenderShift sets that up for you.

Whisper or type

AI Voice speaks for you. Whisper, and a clear voice at normal volume comes out, so no one at home hears you. Or type, and it says it out loud. You can check your words before they're sent.

Ultra realistic

The most human-sounding mode. It can sound happy, shy, excited or sad, whisper or sing, and laugh or sigh when you want.

A voice no one else has

Design your own from a description, from a picture, or starting from your own voice. It's yours alone, never a copy of someone else.

The camera

Change how you look on your webcam too. Take a photo, pick one of four looks, and adjust age, hair or anything you describe. It shows up as GenderShift Camera in Discord, Zoom, OBS or your browser, and your mouth moves with your new voice. You can also record yourself as a video.

In VR

A SteamVR overlay lets you switch voices without taking off your headset.

Price

The voice changer and AI Voice are free with no time limit. Ultra realistic and the camera include a little free time every day, then cost money. Custom voices are free for 7 days, and any purchase keeps them. I'm a solo dev and I don't make a profit from this, so I keep prices as low as I can.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

GenderShift uses generative AI in two ways:
1. Live audio: AI converts your speech or text into the voice you select
2. Voice portraits and sample audio (in the app, trailer, and screenshots) were pre-created with generative AI. You can also generate these yourself in the app.
