1. You're in a game like VRChat, in a female avatar you love. But the second you speak, your voice either ruins the immersion or gets you made fun of, so most of the time you just stay muted.

2. You're a woman, and you'd rather not deal with harassment the second people hear your voice.

3. You live with others, or have thin walls and floors, and you don't want anyone overhearing you while you play.

4. You've tried voice changers before, but they're all terrible. They sound fake, and people can tell right away that you're using one.

5. On top of that, they need an expensive graphics card, slow your computer down, force huge downloads, and take real effort to configure, all for a mediocre result.
