Financial support from Early Access is also valuable, as it helps accelerate development. Regardless of funding I'm committed to continuing development until I'm satisfied with TFS's final state.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“TFS is expected to be available in Early Access for 1–3 years, depending on development progress.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to expand on every aspect of the game. This includes medium and large-size player ships, additional weapon lines such as rockets and lasers, more ship upgrades, and a wider variety of enemies and AI equipment.

Players can also expect new map types, additional in-map content, and further gameplay systems that increase the scale and uniqueness of each mission and overall game experience.

Last but not least, narrative and lore elements true to TFS's atmosphere are planned to further expand it's universe.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version features a single procedurally generated area designed for small-size player ships, along with a selection of kinetic weapons and ship upgrades.

Four small ship classes are available, with a total of 39 weapons across 14 weapon categories.

An early meta-progression system is already implemented, rewarding every mission and gradually enhancing each ship's capabilities, eventually turning them into true space beasts.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, TFS’s price will reflect its available content and stage of development, while remaining fair to both players and it's creator.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The core vision of the game is set, but community feedback will be used to refine and polish the experience so that it remains challenging and immersive, while also staying enjoyable and accessible. Suggestions gathered through Discord and Steam community channels will help improve balance, gameplay systems, and overall quality throughout Early Access development. Feature ideas that fit The Finest Spark's atmosphere and core vision may also be added if technically feasible.”
