„As The Finest Spark is being actively solo-developed, it will take time before it's ready for full release. The current version is a polished and fully playable part that already reflects the core vision and Early Access allows to experience TFS's unique gameplay while helping shape its future through feedback and suggestions.

Financial support from Early Access is also valuable, as it helps accelerate development. Regardless of funding I'm committed to continuing development until I'm satisfied with TFS's final state.“

„The full version is planned to expand on every aspect of the game. This includes medium and large-size player ships, additional weapon lines such as rockets and lasers, more ship upgrades, and a wider variety of enemies and AI equipment.

Players can also expect new map types, additional in-map content, and further gameplay systems that increase the scale and uniqueness of each mission and overall game experience.

Last but not least, narrative and lore elements true to TFS's atmosphere are planned to further expand it's universe.“

„The current version features a single procedurally generated area designed for small-size player ships, along with a selection of kinetic weapons and ship upgrades.

Four small ship classes are available, with a total of 39 weapons across 14 weapon categories.

An early meta-progression system is already implemented, rewarding every mission and gradually enhancing each ship's capabilities, eventually turning them into true space beasts.“

Reignite humanity's future in a fight against an overwhelming force in this physics-based survivor-like set in a militaristic, grounded sci-fi universe. There will be moments of triumph as you move down enemy lines with your superior firepower and moments of chaotic escape as the only thing that matters is to survive.

RELY ON AUTOMATED SYSTEMS OR TAKE DIRECT CONTROL

Let your crew engage targets as they see fit or switch to manual Fire Control System and unleash a focused barrage.

If controlling the ship gets tough enable Flight Assist and steer toward the cursor. Keep direct control for maximum responsiveness or use both as needed.

THERE'S NO SPEED LIMITS IN SPACE

Tired of arbitrary speed limits in space? Starships behaving like atmospheric fighter jets? Inertia that barely exists? You’ll find none of that here. Engage in slower and intense combat or go as fast as you can until an asteroid stops you.

YOUR SHIP, NEWTON'S LAWS

The Finest Spark is built around approachable physics-based, momentum-driven gameplay where inertia matters and collisions might be fatal. Navigate tight spaces, evade incoming threats and use physics to your advantage. Remember: bigger, denser objects always have the right of way.

CREW IS THE LIMIT

At the core of every ship stands its crew — well-trained and hardened but still nearly hopeless against their oldest adversary: G-loads. Push your ship too far for too long, and the mission may end early. On the bright side, as your crew ranks up, you gain better chances of coming across more advanced weapons and ship upgrades.

EVERY END IS A NEW BEGINNING

Destroy enemies, collect EXPARTS, and hold out as long as possible. Every mission advances both your crew rank and permanent ship upgrades. Defeat is nothing more than a step toward commanding an increasingly powerful space beast.
