About This Game

The Crown Doesn't Fall To The Worthy. It Falls To The One Still Standing.

Eight days ago Grand Admiral Korrath Vael, the most powerful man in the Subspace Guild, was murdered aboard his own flagship. Four powers are already circling the empty chair, and the last message he left behind says this: the knife came from inside the house. Find someone with no house.

That is you. New enough to owe nobody. Which is exactly why you are dangerous.

Subspace: Redux is a spiritual successor to the classic multiplayer dogfighting of Subspace/Continuum, rebuilt as a persistent 3D galaxy with a story to fly through. One purchase. No subscription, ever.

A Sci-Fi MMO Inspired By...

Subspace - Virgin Interactive, 1997. World of Warcraft - Classic. ...and Ultima Online.

So what's the difference? Besides the obvious - this one is full 3D - the difference is persistence. Your ship, your loot and your bounty are yours, and they stay yours. You never lose that progress... unless you die, or you choose to change ships.

You can still meet people from all over the world. And then kill them. Just in modern style.

Sixteen Hulls. Eight Pairs. One Fair Fight.

Eight hulls come with the game: Warbird, Hornet, Lancaster, Javelin, Leviathan, Shark, Spider, Terrier. Each is a genuine sidegrade, not a rung on a ladder - a Warbird is not a worse Leviathan, it is a different job.

Eight more are premium, and every one of them is a twin of a free hull: Warbird and Banshee, Terrier and Valkerie, Javelin and Rapier. Here is the part that matters - a premium hull flies exactly like the free hull it is paired with. Same mass, same thrust, same afterburner, same top speed, same turn rate, same energy. Not "balanced" - the same numbers. A Banshee against a Warbird is decided by the two pilots and nothing else.

Ten Rarities, Eight Systems, And Nothing Behind A Paywall

Eight ship systems - guns, bombs, mines, engines, thrusters, armour, shields and reactor - each improve through ten rarity tiers, from Common all the way to Singularity.

Every one of those tiers drops in the game. You can buy an upgrade to skip the hunt if you want to, and a premium hull arrives already wearing its tier - but there is no ceiling that money reaches and flying does not. The best gun in the galaxy is found, not ordered.

That is what "no pay-to-win" means here, and it is a design, not a promise. Money buys a head start. It does not buy a ship you cannot be beaten in.

Six pilot classes sit on top of that, and your pilot is the part that persists: Vanguard the frontline brawler, Interceptor the burst hunter, Warden the shield, Tactician the commander, Phantom the ambush, Engineer the systems specialist. Level 100 is roughly six months of real flying. The cap never moves - no expansion will ever ask you to climb it twice.

A Hundred Sectors That Do Not Wait For You

A hundred sectors of contested space on dedicated servers, from the safe zones out to the open frontier. Jump gates link the map. Pirates with names run the lanes and faction patrols try to take them back. Eight tiers of world boss arrive on their own schedule, whether or not you are ready.

Play Normal - or play Hardcore, where a pilot who dies is dead. No rez, no insurance, no second pass. The Hardcore world is a separate galaxy, and the people in it know exactly what they are risking.

Pick A Flag. It Is Permanent.

Four powers hold this galaxy between them, and the one you choose is for the life of that pilot:

The Vanguard Concordat - protect the routes, the stations, the families. The line holds so others may live.
The Void Ascendancy - take what you can hold.
The Balanced Path - broker it, record it, and own the record.
The Shroud Collective - move unseen.

Concordat against Void on the war axis. Path against Shroud in the shadows. Your own flag can never be your enemy - and can never be your excuse.

Found A House. Put Your Name On A Table.

File a charter, gather fifteen signatures from pilots of your own flag, and a House exists with your name on it. Then take it into the hockey league - one puck, two nets, your gun is your stick, and the referee is a bot who does not miss and will not be argued with. Fixtures are cross-faction, the table is public, and the season standings do not care who your friends are.

Over Two Hundred Quests, And Somebody Is Lying To You

Vael broke his last testament into six encrypted fragments and hid them with the six people he trusted. Finding them is a tour of the whole galaxy: an archivist who refuses you twice, a quartermaster who has kept a tally of every favour for twenty years, a diplomat hiding inside enemy territory, an information dealer who will sell you the way forward and name a price you will not enjoy paying.

Four claims stand for the succession. One of the names on that list belongs to a man who has been dead for twenty years.

Over two hundred story quests carry the Season's arc, and the four factions each live it from their own side - the same four minutes seen from four vantages, and no single flag ever sees all of it. Run all four and you hold something none of them can see alone.

Supporter Is Optional. Here Is Exactly What It Does.

The game you buy is the whole game: every sector, every system, the full story, the entire climb. Supporter is an optional in-game pass, and this is the complete list:

· Four pilots instead of one, and eight hangar bays instead of one
· +10% XP and +10% credits on what you earn
· Hull insurance - keep a quarter of your bounty when you are destroyed, and skip the equipment loss roll
· Auction House: half the house cut, 150 listings instead of 50, and no listing deposit
· A 30-minute vendor buyback window instead of five
· Trade Depot access from anywhere
· A daily bonus track, a monthly cosmetic, Supporter titles, name colour, paint and engine trails

Read that list again and notice what is not on it: no damage, no armour, no speed, no range. It buys room, time and colour. It does not buy the fight.

The Story Keeps Coming

A new Season arrives every six months, and every Season is a full expansion: three new chapters of the galaxy's drama, for the main arc and for all four factions alike. New villains, new allies, new territory, and a cliffhanger you will have to live with for a while.

Supporters get every expansion free of charge.

Buy It Once. Fly It Forever.

No subscription. No energy timers. No daily login tax. Just a galaxy with a dead Admiral, four powers who each think the chair is theirs, and one pilot with no house and nothing to lose.
