Why Early Access?

“Deal Flipper’s core gameplay loop is already playable from end to end: find opportunities on the marketplace, read each seller, negotiate a price, buy items, stock them, relist them and grow your flipping business.
We’re using Early Access to improve and expand that foundation with player feedback. Negotiation balance, seller behavior, progression, the in-game economy and content variety are all systems that benefit from seeing how real players approach them. Early Access lets us tune those systems while adding more items, characters and ways to grow your business.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Deal Flipper to remain in Early Access for around one year. This is an estimate rather than a fixed deadline; the exact timing will depend on development progress and the feedback we receive during Early Access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version contains the complete core flipping loop. During Early Access, we plan to expand the game with substantially more item and seller variety, additional ways to develop your business, and further improvements to negotiation, progression and the economy.
We also plan to expand the world with additional warehouses and staff systems. Other features, including a possible yard-sale system, will depend on development priorities and community feedback. Co-op is currently planned for the full release.
Our goal for 1.0 is not to replace the Early Access game with a different experience, but to make the existing flipping simulation broader, deeper and more replayable.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At Early Access launch, the core gameplay loop is fully implemented and playable. Players can browse the marketplace, inspect seller profiles, negotiate directly with sellers, buy and receive items, stock and relist them, track profits, upgrade their business, run advertising and use the auto-buy system.
Early Access development will focus on balancing and refining these systems, fixing issues discovered through broader play, improving quality of life and expanding the amount and variety of content available.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to offer Deal Flipper at a lower price during Early Access. As the game expands and approaches the full 1.0 release, we expect the price to increase to reflect the additional content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’ll collect feedback through Steam Discussions, Discord and our social channels, with particular attention to negotiation balance, seller behavior, progression, economy balance, item variety, quality-of-life improvements and bug reports.
We want Early Access feedback to help us decide what needs refinement first and which additions provide the most value, rather than simply adding features for the sake of adding them.”
