O tej grze

Overview:

In the future, a massive space station suffers a disaster. You play as a scientist whose ship crashes into the station. Once, you were studying alien life, but now those creatures have escaped and turned hostile. The station is crawling with enemies, and your job is to clear it room by room until all the enemies are gone. Each room is a new level, with layouts, enemies, and obstacles that change every time you play. Some enemies rush you, others hide and hunt. This makes combat fast and dynamic. Fight through the stations and gain upgrades to descend to the planet and destroy the source of the outbreak!
Cleanup Crew is a top-down sci-fi roguelite shooter where you clean up procedurally generated stations room by room, collecting upgrades and pushing deeper. you then descend to the alien planets below to destroy the outbreak at its source.

Gameplay

Each run begins on the station, which is divided into a series of rooms with randomly arranged layouts, obstacles, and enemies. Clearing every enemy in a room rewards you with one upgrade, chosen at random that range from boosting your health, damage, fire rate, armor, movement speed, and more. Upgrades carry over between rooms and stations, You'll need to stack them as high as you can before tackling what waits at the end.

Enemies

Four enemy types populate the station and the planets, each requiring a different approach:

  • Chasers rush you head-on and use pathfinding to navigate around furniture and debris.

  • Rangers keep their distance and fire homing projectiles that track your movement.

  • Turrets hold position and fire in cardinal and diagonal patterns, controlling large areas.

  • The Reaper a powerful boss that appears if you stall too long. In the final room, you must defeat it to advance.

Enemy health and fire rates scale with each room cleared, so the deeper you push, the harder the fight.

Who knows what the future holds...

Weapons

You start with the Zapper a reliable sidearm, but the station and planets hold seven more weapons to discover and earn:

  • Beam Rifle — rapid-fire with very quick projectile travel

  • Cryo Blaster: slows enemies' movement and fire rate on hit

  • Homing Dart: tracking projectiles that seek targets

  • Bounce Dart: ricochets off walls up to three times

  • Scatter Blaster: five-pellet spread for close-range suppression

  • Burst Pistol: three-shot burst with high per-burst damage

  • Plasma Charge: explosive AoE with a blast radius that damages clusters

New weapons are locked behind planet bosses and hidden vaults, with the rarest unlocks requiring completing the hardest difficulties.

Environmental Hazards

The station's air systems are still active and fragile. Rooms have live air pressure, and explosions can shatter windows, causing vacuum breaches. A broken window pulls air into space, and if pressure drops too low, you start losing oxygen. Players with an Air Tank upgrade can survive longer in depressurized areas; those without cannot.

Two types of explosive crates litter the environment: red crates detonate on damage, dealing blast damage and a shockwave that sends furniture and enemies flying; blue cryo crates detonate to slow every enemy in the blast radius. Both can be pushed with your melee broom and enemy shots can set them off too so be carful where you're standing! Your broom can also deflect enemy projectiles back at them and repair shattered windows.

Planet Missions

After clearing the support stations, you descend to one of three alien planets to strike at the source of the outbreak. Each planet is a handcrafted interconnected map with puzzle gates. You must gather codes, match colors, align symbols, and dial in frequencies to unlock the path to the boss arena. Defeat the planetary boss to earn a weapon upgrade and mark the outbreak zone neutralized. Conquer all three planets and see how many stations you can clean up!
