About This Game

Your focus, with a friend

Kotamas is a little pixel dog who lives in the corner of your screen. He runs your pomodoro sessions, naps while you work, and celebrates every focus block right alongside you. Part genuinely-good focus timer, part desktop companion — fully yours.

A focus timer you'll actually use

• Four session styles — Classic, Long, Sprint, and Deep. Name each round and set a daily goal.
  
• Streaks & daily goals that make showing up feel good.
  
• A mood meter — your dog perks up when you focus, and droops when you ghost him for too long.

He keeps you company

• Hover to pet him. Click to make him bark.
  
• Toss a ball on your breaks and watch him chase it down and bring it back.
  
• Drag him anywhere on screen — he remembers where home is.
  
• He wanders, naps while you focus, and sleeps when you do.
  
• Busy? Send him to hide for a while — he slips off-screen and comes back when you're ready.

Focus Guard keeps the distractions out

Pick the sites and apps that pull you off-task — X, Reddit, YouTube, your group chats, whatever yours are. While a focus block is running, Kotamas stands guard: wander onto a blocked site and he quietly closes the tab; bring a blocked app to the front and he tucks it away — each with a gentle nudge (and a yip, if you want one) to steer you back. A short grace period means a quick glance won't slam things shut, and he keeps a running tally of every distraction he headed off for you.

A live countdown sits in your menu bar (or system tray) with your current intention, so you never tab away just to check the time.

Nine breeds — and growing

Hand-pixelled Retrievers and a tactical K-9 unit, with matching animations across the board. Swap any time, name your dog, and make him your own — and new breeds keep dropping over time, so the pack only gets bigger.
