Story

Strange sightings and reports of monstrous creatures emerging from the earth.

In MURK you play as a member of the group investigating these reports. Fight your way through intense encounters with subnatural beings. Scavenge for resources to upgrade your combat capabilities.

Gameplay

The combat loop of MURK offers an easy to learn, fun to master mix between melee and ranged combat.
Discover enemy specific interactions and exploit them to gain the advantage in a battle against overwhelming odds.

Progression

Survival is a matter of resource management.

Invest in survivability to reduce the cost of mistakes, or in damage to destroy enemies before they let you make them. Craft ammo to not let enemies get near you, or sharpen your axe because that is where you want them.

The choice is yours.

Atmosphere

Explore the otherworldly aftermath of natures' sudden reclamation of the lands.
Think twice before beeing fooled by its beauty, you never know where danger lurks.

Traversal

Buildings torn apart by natures' grasp might block your path, but can also open up unique ways to navigate levels.
Find and fight your way through surreal environments, moving from one saferoom to the next, gathering resources and upgrading your equipment along the way.
