Why Early Access?

“Lost Ages Hunting is being released in Early Access to allow the community to help shape the future of the game while core systems continue to evolve.

The core hunting gameplay is already fully playable, but many systems are planned for expansion and improvement during development. Future updates will focus on additional eras, creatures, equipment, environmental variety, improved biome generation, expanded sound design, music, visual improvements, and a more advanced user interface.

Community feedback will help improve gameplay balancing, AI behavior, hunting mechanics, atmosphere, and future content updates.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game is planned to remain in Early Access for approximately 10–18 months, depending on development progress, community feedback, and the scope of planned content updates.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version focuses primarily on the dinosaur era and includes a single large hunting region, a limited selection of equipment, and 6 huntable dinosaurs.

The planned full version is expected to expand the game into four major eras, with future content direction partially influenced by community feedback and player voting.

Planned and proposed eras include:

* Dinosaurs
* Ice Age
* Modern Era
* Contamination Zone
* Fantasy-inspired hunting environments
* Other community-suggested themes

The full version is also planned to include additional maps, improved biome diversity, expanded progression systems, advanced creature behaviors, enhanced sound design and music, improved UI systems, additional weapons and equipment, and larger trophy collection features.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version already includes the core gameplay systems and a fully playable hunting experience.

Players can explore a large open-world environment, hunt multiple dinosaur species, use different weapons and equipment, collect trophies, progress their hunter character, and experience dynamic day and night gameplay.

The current version also includes early implementations of progression systems, biome generation, and hunting mechanics. Additional improvements to UI, sound design, music, environmental variety, creature behavior, and overall visual polish are planned throughout Early Access development.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The price is expected to increase gradually as new content, gameplay systems, and additional eras are added during Early Access and toward the full release.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play an important role during development. Player suggestions, bug reports, balancing feedback, and gameplay ideas will help shape future updates and improvements.

The community will also help influence future content direction, including potential new eras, new animals, environments, and hunting themes planned after the dinosaur era.
