Why Early Access?

“Hanabi Craft is a game about creating your own fireworks, launching them, and enjoying the results.

The current version already allows players to experience the core gameplay loop of crafting a firework shell, launching it, and watching the finished firework.

However, the game currently has a limited variety of fireworks and gameplay content. We want to use Early Access to let players experience the game while it is still being developed, and learn what kinds of fireworks, crafting mechanics, and gameplay players find the most enjoyable.

We plan to use player feedback to help shape the direction of the game and improve its controls, crafting systems, variety, and overall experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Early Access to last approximately 6 months to 1 year.

However, this timeframe may change depending on the development process and feedback from players.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version focuses on the core experience of crafting fireworks, launching them, and enjoying the results.

During Early Access, we plan to expand and improve the game based on player feedback. This may include additional types of fireworks, crafting elements, stages, game modes, visual effects, and improvements to the overall gameplay experience.

For the full version, we aim to create a more complete and cohesive fireworks crafting experience based on what we learn during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the complete core gameplay loop from crafting a firework shell to launching and viewing the finished firework.

Players can create multiple types of fireworks by combining different powders and stars, then launch their creations and see the results.

At the beginning of Early Access, our focus is on providing a solid foundation for the game and making the process of creating and launching fireworks enjoyable.

We plan to continue improving the game and expanding its content based on player feedback throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to start Early Access at a lower price that reflects the amount of content available at launch. As we add new content and features during Early Access, we plan to gradually increase the price to reflect the growing scope and value of the game.

The price may be adjusted several times during Early Access as the game develops. We currently expect the full version to be priced higher than the Early Access version.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Players can provide feedback through the Steam Community, reviews, and social media.

In particular, we would like to hear what kinds of fireworks players want to create, which crafting elements they find enjoyable, and their thoughts on controls and overall gameplay.

We plan to use this feedback to help guide future development and make Hanabi Craft a more enjoyable fireworks crafting experience.”
