About This Game

The night shift has begun. The console is open. All you have are incoming messages, notes from previous operators, and the decisions the system expects from you.

SIGNAL is an atmospheric terminal game built around reading and inference. Examine every transmission, understand the source's behavior, choose the appropriate channel or response, and observe the consequence at the station. The protocol is never handed to you as a list: the first shift teaches the basic operations through live traffic, while the remaining rules must be inferred from patterns.

Read the signal. Infer the rule. Make the call.

  • Examine frequencies, codes, deviations, and language patterns in incoming transmissions.

  • Route each message to the right channel or choose the appropriate operator response.

  • Compare source behavior and record discovered rules in your operator notes.

  • Keep the console stable as wrong decisions increase danger and terminal distortion.

Every shift leaves a trace

As cycles advance, traffic, rules, and the station's behavior change. Lines left by previous operators, your own notes, discoveries, and statistics await you on later shifts. Operators who remain at the console long enough may encounter three optional outcomes that can be recorded without ending the shift. Recording an outcome does not end the game: the line stays open and the shift continues.

A quiet station. A live terminal.

A live CRT console sits inside an original station room, with three phosphor profiles, danger-reactive distortion, and procedural terminal audio that responds to the game's decisions. As you approach CONTACT, the reliability of the screen and its audio layers begins to change.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Generative AI tools were used to create pre-generated visual assets used in the game and its marketing, including the station environment, CRT console artwork, and selected trailer, store, and event artwork.

All outputs were art-directed, edited, composited, and approved by Ruldae before inclusion.

SIGNAL does not use generative AI while the game is running. No player input or personal data is sent to an AI service, and the game contains no live-generated AI content.
